I am a single, sophisticated lady searching for my soul mate. I am a professional and enjoy my work in the medical field, but I also believe that achieving balance in one's life is important. I am fortunate to have many friends and a wonderful family, but am missing that special someone to complete my life. I have an active social life, but also value my quiet 'down' time, especially when shared with a special person. I was born in Cuba, but immigrated to the US as a baby, so let's just say I am very 'Americanized'. That said, I still exhibit the passion and joie de vivre we Latinas possess. I believe physical chemistry is an important part of any relationship, but there must be something of substance in addition in order to keep a relationship flourishing. I enjoy interesting discussion about current events and politics. I have no difficulty expressing my opinion but also respect others' views, even when they do not reflect my own. My hobbies and favorite past times include dining out, wine tasting, traveling, dancing, attending concerts and live music events, and going to the movies/theatre. My taste in music is eclectic (from dance music to jazz, blues, salsa, flamenco, disco, classic rock, etc) and I often attend concerts. I absolutely love to travel and do so frequently. In the last few years I have traveled to Greece, Turkey and Italy ( found Santorini breathtaking and Venice amazing). I enjoy photography as you can probably tell from my various pictures. I am quite fashionable and take great care in my appearance. I work out a few times a week and enjoy watching some sports, in particular professional football (Texans fan) and college football when the Coogs are playing. My friends would describe me as smart, friendly, outgoing, assertive, compassionate and fun to be around.
